Dear RELAC Members,
RELAC is pleased to share an employment opportunity available to our members who may be interested in supplementing their retirement income while putting their valuable County experience and skills to work.
The Executive Office of the Board is looking to bring back a few retired County employees to assist with its operations.

Who Should Consider Applying?

Retirees who previously served as an Administrative Services Manager II or III are encouraged to apply. Retirees from other County positions are also welcome to apply if they have experience and skills in areas such as:

Policy development and implementation
Research and analysis
Project management
Strong writing and communication
Ability to work independently

Additional Information

Pay rate is typically $46–$60 per hour
Teleworking and flexible schedules are available

This is an excellent opportunity to utilize your County experience while supplementing your retirement income.

The Retired Employees of Los Angeles County (RELAC) is proud to announce its endorsement of James Brekk for the LACERA Board of Investments.
James Brekk brings more than 30 years of service to LACERA and extensive experience in technology, cybersecurity, executive leadership, and pension administration. RELAC believes his knowledge and commitment make him well qualified to serve on the Board of Investments and help protect the long-term financial security of LACERA members.

Paper ballots mailed: No later than July 31, 2026
Email voting credentials sent: August 3, 2026, to eligible members with a valid email address
Voting methods: Online, telephone, or mail
Voting period: August 3–28, 2026

We are excited to say that RELAC is holding its First Annual Fundraising Golf Tournament on October 26, 2026, at the Lakewood Golf Course!  In addition to creating scholarship opportunities for our local youth, proceeds will also support veterans and military families through vital programs and resources in our community.
